Convivium Collection

convivium The Convivium Collection consists of medieval and early modern manuscripts, manuscript leaves and book leaves. Most of these items were produced in Europe between 1200 and 1685. Siena College's curriculum includes a program in Medieval and Renaissance Studies. This collection helps support this program and several courses in literature, history, religious studies and creative arts.

Franciscana Collection

Our Franciscana consists of books, documents and manuscripts on St. Francis of Assisi, the Franciscan Orders, and eminent Franciscan men and women. The majority of these materials were donated to the library by the Franciscan Friars, friends of the college, and Convivium.

T.E. Lawrence Collection

The collection includes books, newspaper and magazine articles, photocopies of books and book chapters, travel brochures, memorabilia, photographs, videos, a play script, post cards, 6 framed pictures, and clippings from serials about T.E. Lawrence. The collection was donated by Jane Murray.

Rare Catholic Books

rare books, book of hours The Fleet Special Collections Center also houses a number of old and rare books related to Roman Catholic theology, history and practice. Old and rare books can be accessed in the Reed Reading Room by appointment.
Siena College Library owns 77 R. S. Johnson Fine Art catalogs on important European and American artists, a collection spanning nearly 40 years. R.S. Johnson Fine Art has published catalogs ranging from Old Master prints and drawings to paintings and drawings of the 19th and 20th centuries.
