Standish is going sustainable! We are working towards enhancing sustainability efforts in the library and across campus. Keep an eye out for our Sustainable Standish logo which will identify and document our initiatives and events. We hope you'll join us in our efforts!
Thanks to a Campus Sustainability Grant we were able to purchase a water filling station for the lower level of the library!
Our Sustainability Committee members generously give their time and talent to support and progress our sustainability efforts. Current membership includes:
Standish CLYNKs! Deposit your applicable bottles/cans in our bins! Bottle deposit redemptions will go towards funding other sustainability efforts in the library and we will keep more items out of landfills.
Bins are located by the garbage/recycling bins on the first floor near the Cafe area and in the open seating area of the lower level.
To date, Standish has recycled 283 items!
